On 3rd June 2017, I set off on a journey to row 1,800 miles around Great Britain.
The challenge is said to be tougher than rowing across the Atlantic because of the unreliable British weather, strong currents and with only 2 hours of sleep at a time.
Here’s the route which took 56 days:
I signed up to do the challenge with 3 people I barely knew. Living on board an 8.6m x 1.5m boat in testing conditions was a HUGE social experiment. However, it was the best experience of my life and now I am going to row across the Atlantic.

Throughout my challenges, I raise money for Centrepoint, the UK’s largest charity for homeless young people. I have chosen this charity because I have been homeless myself twice.
